Recurring appointments without the manual rebooking
Set the cadence once — weekly, biweekly, or any interval up to every 8 weeks — and Arrively books each recurring visit automatically. Clients manage skips, reschedules, and cancellations from a link texted when they book the series. You stop rebooking the same people every week.
How recurring appointments work in Arrively
Most mobile service pros keep a mental list of standing clients and text them one by one every week to rebook. Arrively turns that into three steps you set up once.
Pick an interval and a first slot
Choose weekly, biweekly, or every 3 to 8 weeks when you start a recurring series. The initial slot uses drive-time aware scheduling so it fits the rest of your day.
Arrively books every future visit
Each upcoming visit is booked automatically at the same time on the same day of the week at the interval you set. No manual re-booking, no weekly texts to the same clients.
Clients manage from a texted link
When the series is booked, the client gets a text with a link to their manage page. From there they can skip one occurrence, reschedule one occurrence, reschedule this-and-following, or cancel the series.
The first slot is chosen around your real schedule
Standing appointments only help when they fit a day you can physically reach. When you set up a recurring series, the initial slot uses the same drive-time aware engine as a one-off booking — checking real travel time against the jobs around it before the series is locked in. From then on, each future visit is booked at the same time on the same day of the week at your chosen interval. Day-before reminders fire for each visit just like they do for one-off jobs.
Clients handle their own skips and reschedules
When a client books a recurring series, they get a text with a link to a manage page just for that series. From there they can skip a single occurrence, reschedule one occurrence, reschedule this-and-all-following occurrences, or cancel the whole series — without calling or texting you. If a booked recurring visit ends up cancelled (not skipped ahead of time), it triggers cancellation gap-fill the same way any one-off cancellation does: nearby customers with upcoming bookings get an SMS offering the newly free earlier slot.
Recurring appointments FAQ
What recurring cadences does Arrively support?
Weekly, biweekly, or any interval between every 3 and every 8 weeks. You set a single interval per client when you start a recurring series, and Arrively books each future visit automatically at that cadence. For clients who need something close to monthly, use every 4 weeks.
Can clients skip or reschedule a recurring visit?
Yes. When a client books a recurring series, they get a text with a link to their series manage page at arrive.ly/s/[hash]. From that page they can skip a single occurrence, reschedule just that occurrence, reschedule this and all following occurrences, or cancel the whole series.
What happens if a booked recurring visit gets cancelled?
A cancelled recurring visit behaves the same as any cancelled one-off job. The slot opens on your schedule and Arrively's cancellation gap-fill texts nearby customers with upcoming bookings to offer them the earlier time. Skipping a future occurrence in advance from the manage page is different — the visit is never booked as a job, so there is no cancellation to gap-fill.
Does recurring cost extra?
No. Arrively's pricing is per booked job, not per seat or per feature. Each recurring visit counts as a booked job the same way a one-off booking does. Pay-as-you-go is $0.49 per booked job, Growth is $49/month with 150 jobs included, and Pro is $149/month with 600 jobs included. Recurring is available on every tier at no extra charge.
How does drive-time aware scheduling work with recurring?
Drive-time aware scheduling applies when you and the client pick the initial slot for the series. Once that slot is set, each subsequent visit is booked at the same time on the same day of the week at the chosen interval. If a future occurrence conflicts with another booking when it comes time to materialize, Arrively flags it so you can adjust — it does not silently move the appointment to a different time of day.
Which industries benefit most from recurring appointments?
Any service where clients rebook on a steady rhythm — pool techs on standing routes, recurring house cleaners, mobile groomers with standing appointments, landscapers on biweekly or 4-week rotations, and pet sitters with weekly dog-walk schedules. If your best customers are the ones who see you on the same day every week or every few weeks, recurring eliminates the manual rebooking.
